We were pleased and highly satisfied in all areas of J.L. Embleton Construction’s work. Throughout our home there is evidence of quality workmanship. Jerry was always willing to accommodate any changes we requested. Any of the work that was subcontracted was supervised and high quality. We have lived in our home for 4 years and have little to no maintenance. Jerry was always available if we contacted him from when the construction started up until today. We were very pleased with our home building experience. WE would recommend Jerry to anyone looking for a builder.

As a satisfied customer of J. L. Embleton Construction, Inc., I would like to share my experience.

I started looking for contractors to quote on redoing the exterior of our home. This was when contractors had work and I couldn’t get anyone to call me back. We were considering a total redo of the exterior or our home and shed which included roofing, siding, doors and deck. This was no small job, but still couldn’t get anyone to quote. I happen to see Jerry’s wife at the gym one day and realized her husband was a contractor. I told her that I was having trouble getting a contractor to call me back. She said her husband would call me back and that he did.

I did not know anything about Jerry’s work, but had admired his home and how well it was kept. I thought if he took that good care of his home,he was someone that I could trust on my home.

We met and discussed what it was we wanted, received the quote and agreed to let Jerry work on our home. That was the beginning of a very good experience.

I have been accused of being a perfectionist, but had finally met my match. Everything that Jerry did was to perfection and our satisfaction. At the end of every work day, the job site was left spotless and organized for the next day’s work. One day I came home to find Jerry blowing leaves off the new roof on our shed…. (That is Perfection!)

There were some areas where I wasn’t really sure what I wanted. Jerry made some very good suggestions and everything turned out better than I could have even imagined.

I would highly recommend J.L. Embleton Construction for any of your building or remodeling needs.

Harrington, DE – Front Porch

I would have to say that we are very pleased with our new front porch. All I had to do was tell Embleton Construction what I wanted and they knew just what I wanted. The whole process of the planning, permits, etc. went smoothly, the project took less time than I expected. In the future I will use Embleton Construction again.

I used Embleton Construction, Inc. in Jan 2009 and again in July 2009. In Jan., Jerry replaced my front door and the workmanship was far superior to that of a precious contractor, so much so that I asked for a quote to enclose my porch. The quote was significantly lower than bids from two separate porch companies. I also added a deck. The project turned out beautifully. I am very satisfied and highly recommend his services.

Jerry was recommended to us by our bank. Our first project was a finished interior garage addition. When completed, it looked as if it were a ready to move into room. Our second project was a sunroom addition. Jerry’s knowledge and ideas gave us a bright cherry room that appears to be original to the house. Kent County – Two large Additions

As our family grew, our home needed to grow too. Jerry Embleton built our beautiful kitchen/family room addition in 2001. We were so happy with the high quality of the project that we had Jerry come back a few years later to add a 2 story addition including a master bedroom and bath. Jerry has added more square footage than our original home! The construction process went smoothly and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. We originally chose Jerry Embleton Construction to do our first addition because we heard he had very hugh standards and did meticulous work. We certainly found this to be true. The price for our large additions was very fair and worth every cent.

We especially appreciated the guidance we recevied when doing our first addition. Jerry recommended a local architect to be sure that the vision we had in mind was translated into the proper plans. No other contractor we spoke to had done that. It made all the difference.

For our second addition, we didn’t even look for other contractors to give us a quote…… We knew that J.L. Embleton Construction, Inc. was the best choice for us!
